Meet the team
We are a group of entrepreneurs and freelancers who want to make it easier for other people like us to get the funding they need to keep their business active. We went through the painful process to get SBA PPP loans for our own companies, and ourselves as self-employed independent contractors. We learned some important strategies, and realized we could help others. We’re not a big bank, or a big business, we’re a group of friends who created GetPPP to help business owners in our community to acquire the funds they need to get back to work.
Tony Alfaro - Founding Partner
Tony cares deeply about music and live events. He was the first to stream music videos on a large scale — merging with LAUNCH to become the first internet music company to go public. He founded an Inc 500 Fastest Growing Company and was a real estate developer in Fiji for a decade. He is currently the Founder & CEO of Ribbon — a social planning platform making it easier to plan events with friends.
He has over a thousand live shows and festivals under his belt. His favorite artists include Phish, Bob Moses, Jane’s Addiction, Lee Burridge, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Nora En Pure, Radiohead, Neil Young, and Sofi Tukker. Tony’s biggest love is Burning Man.
Tony has brought together a team of industry experts and friends to form GETSVOG. We are grateful for the opportunity to help friends and colleagues secure much-needed funding — so we can all get back to the life and business we LOVE.
Tony has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
